BAZIC Vodka is a Hamburg native vodka brand and product invented and developed by Oliver Fuhse and Hansi Rösch. I was asked to design a digital brand face and to fill up the product with a substancial story.
BRIEF
The task was to develop a digital home for the youthful vodka brand and to refer to its origin in Hamburg.
IDEA
When thinking about vodka and Hamburg, I thought of a few untold stories about nightlife in Hamburg on the Kiez and its dark alleys leading down to the Fischmarkt. The idea was to make up a spooky room at the Hamburg Fischmarkt with fish and vodka. Both symbols of Hamburg and nightlife and the product placed in between the setting of this abandoned room feeling a little bit like "SAW" the movie. By dragging, users could easily explore different hotspots placed across the room.
EXECUTION
Almost every hotspot has its icon which leads to the specific content. The whole site was produced in flash and is intended to be a brand communication platform.
